About this coffee
A washed Castillo and Caturra from the Magdalena Valley in Huila, Colombia, grown between 1,200 and 1,800 m by several small producers. The green coffee was matured for three months in freshly emptied barrels that had held Caribou Crossing, a Canadian whisky distilled and bottled in Montreal — repurposing casks that would otherwise be waste. The cup tastes of chocolate-covered cherry, vanilla and whisky. Roasted medium for filter by Café TorQué in Canada.
