Caturra

A natural dwarf mutation of Bourbon found in Brazil in the early 20th century, Caturra packs more plant into less space, making it productive and easy to harvest. It keeps much of Bourbon's sweetness but adds a livelier, sometimes sharper acidity — clean citrus and caramel at altitude. Widely planted across Colombia and Central America, it is a workhorse that can still climb to specialty heights on the right slope.
