La Minita is a washed Costa Rican that George Howell has worked with since the late 1980s, traveling to the farm across the decades. The farm built its reputation on meticulous processing, including hand-inspecting every bean and removing any blemished ones so only the highest-quality lots made the cut — a practice still in use today.
