A Salvadoran cross of Pacas (a Bourbon mutation) and Maragogipe (a giant-beaned Typica mutation), Pacamara inherited the latter's enormous seeds and a flavour all its own: bold and complex, swinging between lush tropical fruit, herbaceous green notes, brown sugar and spice. It is striking and a little unpredictable from lot to lot — a competition favourite for exactly that reason.

Pacas (a Bourbon mutation) crossed with Maragogipe (a Typica mutation) — so it draws on both founding cultivars.
