September Coffee Company

September is a micro-roastery in Ottawa run by Natasha and Kyle, who left their jobs as pastors to start it; Kyle was already known for coffee education on YouTube and social media. They choose coffees that make them smile, spark conversation or bring curiosity while staying traceable, buying direct where they can and through select importers where they can't. Each coffee's page lists variety, region, process, altitude, producer and farm, and states what September paid for the green coffee and what it cost roasted, per kilogram. The menu leans to Kenyan AAs, Ethiopian washed lots and Colombian and Panamanian Geishas, and many coffees are also offered in an extra-light roast.
