Sidema Nigusse Gemeda is a washed heirloom from Karamo Coffee in Sidama's Bura district, grown between 2,200 and 2,400 m by Nigusse Gemeda, the inaugural champion of Ethiopia's 2020 Cup of Excellence. This is Karamo's first washed lot, fermented 48 hours in cold water changed every 24 hours for gentle, even control. The cup is balanced and tea-like, with grape, honey and red apple.
