74110

74110 is one of the numbered varieties released by Ethiopia's Jimma Agricultural Research Center, developed from wild Ethiopian coffee for resistance to coffee berry disease. Like its siblings in the 74-series, it is now grown widely across the country's west and south, often blended into the catch-all "heirloom" label. In the cup it tends toward delicate florals, citrus, and tea-like clarity. Its vigor and resilience have made it a backbone of smallholder plots in Jimma and beyond.
