Datura Coffee

Datura is a micro-roastery in Paris with a short, expensive and very particular list. Most of what it sells are competition-grade lots from the farms that set the bar for the category: Gesha Village in Ethiopia's Bench Maji, the Lamastus family's Elida Estate and Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama, auction and Cup of Excellence coffees, and fermentation-led Ethiopian lots from producers like Alo and Elto. It doesn't split its range into espresso and filter roasts; each coffee gets the one profile Datura thinks shows it best, usually sold in 100 g bags. Product pages read like a lot sheet, with origin, farm, altitude, variety, process and harvest set out before the story of the visit.
