This is a fermented washed Geisha from Boquete, grown by Eugene Altieri — known as Don Gene — who started farming here over 20 years ago with no prior experience, just business sense and a clear vision. The Geisha carries a storied lineage: Don Gene sourced his seeds directly from the Peterson family of Hacienda La Esmeralda, who reintroduced the variety to the world in 2004.
