Milenio

Milenio is an F1 hybrid variety released through World Coffee Research and partner breeding programs, created by crossing a wild Ethiopian accession with a dwarf Caturra-type parent. Like other first-generation hybrids it combines high productivity and disease tolerance with a cup clarity that rivals traditional varieties. Because it must be propagated clonally or from carefully controlled seed, Milenio remains relatively uncommon and is usually found on forward-looking farms. In the cup it tends toward sweetness and balance, with clean fruit and a rounded body.
