Maracaturra

Maracaturra combines the oversized seeds of Maragogype with the compact productivity of Caturra, yielding large beans on a manageable plant. Cup character leans toward soft acidity, rounded body and clean sweetness, often showing stone fruit and chocolate when well processed. It is grown across Central America, with Nicaragua and Guatemala producing notable lots. Yields are modest, so the variety tends to appear in dedicated microlots rather than commodity blends.
