Caturrón

Caturrón appeared as a natural mutation of Caturra distinguished by notably larger beans and cherries. It gained attention through Colombian farms such as Finca Tamana, where growers isolated and propagated the variety for its distinctive cup. Rather than the clean sweetness of its parent, Caturrón can lean savory and unusual, showing notes of bell pepper, chili heat and tropical fruit. It remains a rare, curiosity-driven variety planted in small quantities.
