SL9

SL9 is one of the numbered selections developed by Kenya's Scott Agricultural Laboratories in the 1930s, alongside the more famous SL28 and SL34. While it never reached the same scale of planting, it survives in select East African and Central American plots where growers value its clean, sweet cup profile. Expect bright citrus, stone fruit and a rounded, syrupy sweetness. Its relative rarity makes it a curiosity for producers experimenting with heritage SL genetics.
